BLAH is what BLAH does...

You can put any of your favorite words in place of BLAH and it would work.

So after all these many months and weeks, you wonder... where does bachelor Ben Flajnik draw a line? Well, the thing is, he doesn't!

I think I have finally seen a man who can be categorized into a woman because you just can't tell what he wants. Until the end that is, on March 12th. By then it was all down the drain. I was like gimme back my 30+ hours spent on this crap and more. But ah well, that's what you get for getting too much entertained. Many people thought this was all planned, I say that's how they made it look like. May be Courtney wasn't as bad as she was portrayed through out. Cause I mean c'mon, the girl wouldn't come to say sorry in the women tell all episode, would she? I mean, remember the b*tchy gal that fought with that brainy PhD student Emily and called other girls names? That just wasn't the same gal as the one who showed up on the show to meet Chris Harrison and the one who broke down in tears and actually said sorry to everyone?? Looking in the eyes?? I just don't believe that. But as Reality Steve and his readers point out, the dude here isn't thinking or may be thinking with different organs. And to think some of the girls actually stayed behind to watch all of this? That too till the end?? Oh myyyyy goodness! I'm looking at you, Ms. Lindzi. But then I think she probably just wanted to tour Switzerland while she was still at it and not let that opportunity go. Why else would she still be there and just walk away when Ben said that all of a sudden now he was only in love with just one woman where he actually admitted multiple times that he was indeed in love with both of these women? All along as the show went on from one episode to the other, I hoped that some of the girls would just abandon the show and get outta there. That'd have taught some lessons to those who needed them. Badly.

And were Ben's sister and mother NOT thinking? I don't want to use harsh words here but I was stumped, I mean like really STUMPED!! What the heck!! First, they both agreed. "Beauty is skin deep", "red flags", "not getting along with other ladies" and what not and all of a sudden, both of them turn tables and are on Courtney's side. How? Why? When? I got no answers.

Did you actually see in the end that Ben and Courtney had broken up during the time the show aired and just in less than 10 mins they're back together and he's putting on the engagement ring back on her finger? What the? Makes no sense. It's not even filmi any more because then at least the mystery gets resolved at the end and you don't feel like you wasted your time and money.

Oh well, I got more but I'll get that off some other time. Until then.. to more red roses!

Forgiving a murderer?

It has blown my mind away to have found such a person in today's times. A mother whose teenager son is murdered says she forgives the person who killed her son. What thinking, man! It makes me want to respect this woman so much. She is truly an inspiration. Read some of the stuff she says and believes in below.

And to think, sometimes as a person we even have a hard time forgiving people who hurt us. It's a pity!

The parents of Ohio school shooting victim Demetrius Hewlin said today they forgive suspected gunman T.J. Lane for shooting their son, noting sadly that Demetrius was often late for school but not late enough that day.

"I don't know what [his] final moments were like, but I can't worry about it," Demetrius' mother Phyllis Ferguson told ABC News in an exclusive interview. "You have to accept things done and move on."

When asked what she would say to the suspected shooter, Ferguson said, "I would tell him I forgive him because, a lot of times, they don't know what they're doing. That's all I'd say."
"I taught Demetrius not to live in the past, to live in today and forgiveness is divine. You have to forgive everything. God's grace is new each and every day," she said. "Until you've walked in another person's shoes, you don't know what made him come to this point."

Hewlin was one of three teens killed following a deadly shooting rampage at Chardon High School on Monday.

Ferguson said her son as a "huggy, kissy boy" who was a "computer nerd," liked to read and did not like getting up early. Hewlin was good friends with Russell King Jr., 17, and Daniel Parmertor, 16, the other two teens who died after the shooting spree. His stepfather Tim Ferguson remembered playing pee-wee football with the boys.

"He wasn't a morning person and he was late for school. But that one day he wasn't late," his mom said. "We were running a little late, but we weren't late enough. But it's okay. It's in God's hands. Let his will be done."

She said she never imagined she would have to bury her son.

"I thought he'd bury me," Ferguson said. "He'd say, 'When you get old, Ma, you're going to live with me and we going to do this.'"

The parents said they are honoring Hewlin's wishes by having his organs donated.

"He will live after his death," Phyllis Ferguson said. "For one Demetrius, there's eight people he can help."

Ferguson said it has not fully hit her that her son is gone and that she expects to hear him running through the house. But she said she knows the matter is out of her hands now.
"God knew what he was doing. It's not for my understanding, but mine to accept and remember him as he was," Ferguson said.

Primus

The other day, while I was watching Raam Lakhan, I saw Radha (Madhuri Dixit) was using one and that reminded me of Hungama when Nandu (Aftaab Shivdasani) was using one too when he fought with Anjali (Rimi Sen). I remember we had one at home too when I was a kid and when the gas cylinder ran low or was out, we turned to it. It was fun little gadget that came in handy when something special needed to be done or at a special time. We, along with our neighbors, made our yearly supply of tomato ketchup, which consisted of more than 20 liters of this red sauce on there and sometimes tea and things like that. It was this tiny little thing, but worked amazingly well with the more economical fuel - kerosene. They had these pins that went with them. Flat knife like thing with a sharp wire at one end that could be stuck into the burner hole thing in case it got clogged with the kerosene burned leftovers. And there was a pump that needed to be maneuvered in case there wasn't enough kerosene on the burner or when it went dry of not being in use for an extended periods of time. Mom used to shake it to find out whether the brass tank at the bottom still had any fuel left or needed a refill. If it did, there was a designated funnel to be used as it is flammable and non-edible liquid. I remember the top plate-like thing with three grooves on there that fit the three fat metal rods that connected the bottom tank and curved at the top and formed the rest of the structure. What an interesting gadget! Having a discussion with family members about it took me back to the good ol' days when it was not just a part of any kitchen, but a necessity and made me miss our dear old primus so much I just had to write about it. I am so pleasantly surprised this one has made it to wikipedia. Long live primus! :)
