Vivah - The receptionist or Maria aunty as Prem calls her gets all excited because big boss (Prem's dad) has found a girl for him to marry!I still have a feeling that I've seen this office/reception area in more films, just can't recall now.
Another similar location is actually the white colored swing used in Hrishikesh Mukherjee's movies. (I'll have to look up for the photo of it) I think it's seen in Chupke Chupke, Khubsoorat, and a few others. Anyone remember that?

Yes! Even I thought of the Sarkar Raj staircase...
I was there in January :-) It's the main office building at ND studios in Karjat and it is used v.v. often in films.

I love this post! I constantly watch for sets in movies that are repeated. In Hollywood if you stick to movies of the same studio, you'll see the same stuff show up over and over again.
And so it is in India - all it means is that sets have matured. So we can have much fun.

The staircase actually is in the office of Grey Worldwide, one of the world's top ad agencies who have an office in Mumbai. I work there :)
